Freedom of speech should have some limitations. The American people should have the right to say whatever they want, but to an extent. Whether it is on signs or verbally some things should not be expressed. The United States is well known for being â€Å"the home of the free,† but some people take their freedom a bit too far. People can burn flags, protest at military funerals, even use the â€Å"n† word and watching pornography in libraries. To start off, our country has come so far since September 11th, but right after caused a state of confusion with the entire nation. One of the most certain things is, when people are in a fragile state do not make anti-Ame rican remarks. If someone hates the United States, he or she can leave and move to some other country. There will always be a window where people can say whatever they want and most people will not get offended. There are also times where comments are so inappropriate, that they should never be said, and that is how making anti-American comments and burning of the flag is never appropriate while on US soil. Next, when a soldier dies, a family has to prepare a funeral and all that goes into laying his or her daughter for an eternal rest. Sadly, military funerals are one of the more common targets that Westboro Baptist Church protests. Members of the Westboro church can hold up signs at military funerals that say, â€Å"Don’t Pray for the USA,† and â€Å"America is Doomed† (Biskupic Protest). One of the funerals that the Westboro Church protested at was Matthew Snyder’s. Matthew was 20 when he died. Is freedom of choice a right or a responsibility? That is that the question which will determine the outcome in ?woman vs. doctors?. The problem is this: a woman wishes to have her child born naturally. If this happens her baby will most likely be born retarded. The way her baby is positioned inside her, within a few months, the baby would not receive enough oxygen and the birth process would be drastically altered. If it is a choice, then the baby will be born naturally. If it is not a choice, the baby will be born via cesarean section. The main argument in the mothers case is that it is her child and therefore her decision. The main argument for the doctors is that the baby will be born retarded or possibly dead. The baby is hers; It is that simple. Should the doctors have any right to reject her religious beliefs for beliefs of there own. Now you can argue logic and probability versus religion, but that again is a one sided battle. For decades Scientists and Christians have argued fact and logic versus miracles and God. The only conclusion that has ever been reached is this: according to Christians Jesus walked on water. According to Scientists that is physically not possible. Who is right? We as a society are willing to accept both however, so how can we not accept her beliefs now? Is it because certain beliefs mean more than others, or that is it that we feel we can intervene when it is convenient for us. Does she not have a right to control what happens to her body? In a country founded on principles of religious freedom, if this woman believes that her god will take care of the baby, who is the government to tell her she has to have an operation? In the case of the doctor telling her patient that she needs to have a c-section to save the life of her child, we need to realize that the doctor is just doing his/hers job. If the doctor's opinion counts for so much, the lady needs to listen. If she did not want the opinion of a doctor, she should not have gone to the doctor. Also in the case of the doctor, lets just say that if the female goes against the wishes of the doctor and the lady went with her instincts and the baby died, the doctor and the hospital will be facing a law suit of some sort. The real issue is about murder, the case is not about anything else. Especially since this is the nineties, and every person is looking for a quick buck. There is not an issue about the women's rights, it is about the right of the child, the human being, which is also a life. Event though the fetus is not standing on it's own two feet, it still matters. In this case I feel the doctor has the right to suggest and try to persuade the lady to have a cesarean section. Now, it is the lady's decision to believe in the doctor or go on with her very strong belief of God. I do not believe that this should be considered a murder trial, because then the issues of abortion will arise and this will go into a whole other issue. The lady should have her own decision and everyone else should just sit back and see what happens.

Here are the dance steps: â€Å"The basic setup is to reproduce a single sentence, followed by an attribution,† he began. â€Å"Then, if the quotation consists of more than one sentence, follow the attribution with the rest of it.† If the quotation extends for more than one paragraph, do not close the first paragraph with an end quotation mark; this omission signals to the reader that the same person is being quoted in the next paragraph. In that next paragraph, rinse and repeat. Many publications, however, treat long quotations as extracts, specially formatted with narrower margins, sometimes in a different font or font size, and set off from the rest of the text. The tipping point for minimum word count for an extract varies, starting at about a hundred words. Attributions can also precede a quotation: â€Å"The report concluded, ‘Meanwhile, the ecosystems it is intended to save are in peril.’† Or they can be inserted within one, in a natural breaking point: â€Å"‘For millions of people,’ she added, ‘reclaimed water has become as ordinary as storm sewers and summer droughts.’† Beware of sentences that introduce the attribution before the end of the sentence when there is no internal punctuation. Which is correct? The answer is, either. It depends on the medium. News articles generally employ past tense because they’re reporting on an event that has already occurred or recording what someone said about an event, while features and profiles, crafted to make you feel like you are at the writer’s shoulder, often feature present tense. Books referring to the past, appropriately, quote historical figures with past-tense attributions, but those with interviews of real, live people are likely to be written with attributions formed in the present tense. In all expository writing, let these parameters be your guides. And what about fiction? Writing novels in the present tense is rare; it can be distracting or, worse, exhausting. It’s easier to get away with it in short stories. Two additional guidelines about attributions in fiction: First, don’t overdo identification of speakers in a dialogue; craft alternating speech so that you minimize the necessity of tossing in â€Å"he said,† â€Å"she replied,† and so on. Second, do vary the verbs you use, but don’t get carried away with numerous obscure synonyms for said. (Oh, and don’t use a word for a nonspeaking sound to mark attribution: â€Å"‘At last, I have you in my clutches!’ he laughed diabolically† is clumsy because you can’t laugh a sentence.
